2022年12月20日，中印兩軍在莫爾多/楚舒勒會晤點中方一側舉行第十七輪軍長級會談。雙方在7月17日會談以來取得進展基礎上，以開放和建設性方式就推動解決中印邊界西段實控線地區(qū)有關問題交換意見。雙方以兩國領導人重要共識為指引，一致認為坦誠深入就盡快解決剩余問題進行討論，有助于恢復中印邊界西段實控線地區(qū)安全穩(wěn)定，推動雙邊關系發(fā)展。在此期間，雙方同意維護中印邊界西段安全穩(wěn)定，繼續(xù)保持密切外交和軍事渠道溝通對話，盡早就解決剩余問題達成雙方均能接受的方案。
Joint Press Release of the 17th Round of India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting
The 17th round of India-China Corps Commander Level Meeting was held at Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on the Chinese side on 20th December 2022.
Building on the progress made after the last meeting on 17th July 2022, the two sides exchanged views on the resolution of the relevant issues along the LAC in the Western Sector in an open and constructive manner. They had a frank and in-depth discussion, keeping in line with the guidance provided by the State Leaders to work for the resolution of the remaining issues at the earliest which would help in restoration of peace and tranquility along the LAC in the Western Sector and enable progress in bilateral relations.
In the interim, the two sides agreed to maintain the security and stability on the ground in the Western Sector. The two sides agreed to stay in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels and work out a mutually acceptable resolution of the remaining issues at the earliest.
